New coach for the Greens: Andrea Haris (Muci)

02 July 2020

We are happy to announce that we added another member to our coaching staff: Andrea Haris, better known as Muci!

A well-known name in Luxemburg that will help us to develop our program.

Muci started playing basketball in Steinsel before joining the Senior team of Etzella and winning back-to-back titles at the age of 16 and 17.
In 1995 she helped the Luxemburgish national team to win a gold medal in the JPEE games.

After a stint in Trier, she went to play for the Tulane University (Louisiana, USA).
Back in Europe, Muci played professionally in Belgium while working Luxemburg. As this was very hard to combine, she decided to play in Luxemburg after a while. She won several championships and cups with Esch and Dudelange.

During her career as a player, Muci already made her first experiences in coaching. She coached several youth teams from Pré-Poussins to Cadets/Cadettes for years and started to develop a special girls program in Dudelange in the last 6 years with some greats results like winning several championships and cups. In addition, she was the Poussines FLBB coach.

Muci loves working with young players and her goal is to get the best out of each individual player, while integrating them into a functioning team.

Muci: “In Grengewald I hope that I can teach the talented girls of the Greens all the fundamentals of basketball they need to fulfill their basketball dream one day. No matter if the dream is to play basketball for fun, to enter the women’s basketball team one day or to play for a University on a scholarship.”

Welcome to Grengewald Muci!
