From the beginning of the season I knew this season was going to be something special but unfortunately it came to an unexpected end at a time players look forward to the most with the cup championship and the championship itself being played for, but it was important to put the safety of the basketball community first.

I want to thank the club for giving me a chance and an unforgettable experience here at Grengewald. It wasn’t the easiest season for me personally dealing with injuries throughout but Hermann and the club were great in working with me and allowing me to stay and finish out the season and for that I am beyond grateful for them believing in me.

It was a pleasure playing for Hermann, he is a great coach who cares and wants nothing but the best for his players and is very passionate about the game. He is the type of coach a player wants to play for and to be given the opportunity to play for him this season, I couldn’t be more thankful.

My teammates were phenomenal. From the first day they welcomed Tae and I with open arms and made us feel right at home. And being able to play with this group of girls will be a season i will never forget.  Even though we had a roller coaster season, we fought hard every time we stepped on the court to achieve our goals and I personally believe we were on a the right path to do so.

To the youth players, the parents and the members of the committee thank you for everything you guys did this season from volunteering to supporting us. You all were very welcoming and made putting on the green and white uniforms something to look forward every weekend.

Thank you again for everything.

Who could have guessed that not only our season but everyone's season would end this way? It sucked but I think this is another wake up call for everyone to remember that life is short and very unpredictable and what seems so certain and indefinite can be changed in an instant.

I definitely did not want to end our season this way being that we were only a couple of days away from competing for the Cup Championship and only a few weeks away from earning a spot in the top 4. Although the season didn't end the way we wanted it to I'm glad I was able to experience this journey. This has by far been the best club I have been apart of, everyone was very nice and welcoming and above all super professional which is extremely important to me.

I would like to first thank Hermann for believing in my abilities and giving me a chance to compete for something greater than myself. Hermann was one of the best coaches I have ever played for. He not only demanded excellence and 100% from the professionals, he demanded it from every person on the team and It didn't matter if you were first to come off the bench or last he always expected that you give your best and in return he gave us his best. So thank you for all of the things you did for not only us but all of the girls who play for Grengewald, it doesn't go unnoticed.

Secondly I would like to thank my teammates for their great hospitality toward me since day one. We were a special group of girls for sure but since the beginning I always felt that our team chemistry was amazing. When things got hard or ugly we never turned our back against one another and we always wanted to see everyone do good. If we weren't consistent in any thing else we were consistent in wanting to see everyone on the team win. We believed in each other and we believed that when we played like we know we could no one could stop us. Thank you for all of the memories, especially all of the funny ones.

Last but not least thank you to all of the fans/sponsors of Grengewald. Rather it was on the court and you guys cheering for us or walking into one of your establishments to eat I always appreciated and felt the support and the great hospitality shown to me since day one. Rarely do you see clubs really supporting the women like they do the men but with this club fan base I really felt like we were equal to the men in the amount of support that you guys showed at each game.

Thanks for a great season, its never goodbye but just a see you later!
